McDowell County is a fertile mission field and the laborers are few ~ is God calling you?

 

At the Community Crossing we believe that we are called to be obedient in following Jesus — and that equipping is accomplished through the Holy Spirit, and those who labor for the Lord are not empowered necessarily by degrees. How many Gladys Alywards and Bruce Olsons long to serve God but are told they are not qualified?

 

Because of this, we are seeking people who God has called to serve in McDowell County with their passions and God-given talents. There are several areas of our ministry that are in particular need of more help, however, if there is something you are passionate about that is not listed please feel free to call and discuss where you might fit into our ministry here — (304) 436-8300.

Staff at CCX are funded one of two ways:

​

1. Missionaries who work in general mission activities are required to raise full support for their salaries before coming on staff at CCX.

2. Parents as Teachers staff receive salaries from the PAT grant and are not required to raise support.

​

Volunteers who are interested in "tent making" ministry and would like to come to McDowell County to help fundraise for CCX and volunteer in mission activities are welcome as well!

CCX is currently in need of missionaries and volunteers for:

• Church Planting/Missional Community Development

• Facilities Maintenance
